Traditional cabinet making and high class joinery from a small workshop at Rose Cottage, on the edge of the North York Moors. Every piece is made by hand, to standard designs or entirely to your own, and carries a hand carved swan.
The workshop sits in the small North Yorkshire village of Bagby, near Thirsk, nestled at the foot of the Hambleton Hills on the border of the North York Moors National Park. Everything is made here at Rose Cottage, by one pair of hands, using traditional methods of cabinet making and high class joinery.
Most work is made to commission, with customers putting their own ideas into the design, so no two pieces are quite the same. Almost anything can be made, from a simple napkin ring to a complete hand built kitchen.
A full range of standard and custom designed furniture for the dining room, living room, hall, bedroom and kitchen.
There is a selection of standard pieces on show at Rose Cottage, along with smaller items for gifts. Come and see the work in person, feel the timber and talk through what you have in mind. No appointment needed, though a call ahead is always welcome.
Whether you know exactly what you want or have only a rough idea, get in touch and we will talk it through. There is no charge for a quote and no obligation.
